Work safely in critical environments and with complex equipment.
In Italy, the training on the use of work equipment and high-risk tasks is regulated by Legislative Decree 81/2008 and the State-Regions Agreement of 17/04/2025. These courses are mandatory to ensure safety for operators working in high-risk contexts such as confined spaces, work at height, and use of lifting and handling equipment.
This course provides both theory and practice to work in confined spaces or areas with suspected contamination, in accordance with Presidential Decree 177/2011. It includes the use of Category III PPE (DPI III categoria), emergency procedures, ventilation, gas detectors, and rescue systems. Training is delivered in person only: 4 hours of legal training and 8 hours of practical training; 4 hours of refresher training are required every 5 years for the practical training only.
This course trains workers who operate more than 2 meters above a stable surface. It includes use of Category III PPE (DPI III categoria), anchorage systems, lifelines, ladders, scaffolding, and elevating work platforms (PLE) .
This course is mandatory for those who operate forklifts. It includes theory, hands-on practice, and final assessment. Topics include stability, load balancing, maneuvering, routine maintenance, and emergency management.
This course qualifies workers to safely use an overhead crane. It covers proper maneuvers, signals, suspended loads, inspections, and daily safety checks. It is considered specific equipment training according to art. 37 and 73 of D.Lgs. 81/2008.
